CSIR-NEIST, Branch Laboratory, Imphal, Manipur in a branch of the institute CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, which is a multidisciplinary institute having research areas like Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Materials Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Geological Sciences, etc. The institute is equipped with sophisticated state-of-art analytical and other equipment to carry out research activities in frontier areas of science & technology. Presently a large number of research activities are being carried out in CSIR and externally funded projects. Now, there is a requirement of a Project Fellow in the CSIR-NEIST, Branch Laboratory, Imphal with the following specialization:

Qualification required –

Project Title: Diastereoselective synthesis of Lamellarin alkaloid natural product fused spirooxindoles and its analogues, A series evaluation of its biological activities against Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other bacteria.

Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc with specialization in Organic Chemistry

[Max Age: 30 yrs]

Desirable: NET (JRF/LS) qualified

Place of Posting: Branch Lab, Imphal, Manipur.

Remuneration- Rs. 25000/- Per Month for 1st & 2nd Year and Rs 28000/- Per Month for 3^rd Year

During selection, due weight-age will be given to the academic performance of the candidates.
