Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a premier Institute of  Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), is engaged in important Biomedical Research activities in the areas relevant to Armed Forces. The Institute invites applications from young and meritorious Indian nationals, who desire to pursue defence related research as Research Associates or Junior Research Fellows. Selection will be made on the basis of interview to be held at INMAS.

Stipend (Monthly):
1. DRDO Research Associate (RA): Rs.40,000/+HRA as per DRDO rules
2. DRDO Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs.25,000/+HRA as per DRDO rules

Upper age limit: 35 years for RA & 28 years for JRF as on the closing date for submission of application. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging for SC/ST candidates (5 years relaxation), OBC candidates (3 years), and other entitled categories as per Government of India rules. Number of vacancies may change as per organizational requirement.

Essential Educational Qualification:
A. For DRDO-JRF: A first class M.Sc/B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E./M.Pharm in the Subject/Discipline applied for and having qualified the NET/LS of UGC-CSIR or GATE. (*M.Tech/M.E. exempted from NET/GATE as per guidelines)
 B. For DRDO-RA: MSc with PhD in relevant Subject. Candidates having provisional degree certificate by the closing date for application, will also be eligible to apply. (OR) M.Tech/M.Pharm with 03 years of research experience (post- M.Pharm/M.Tech) and at least one research article published as primary author in SCI indexed journal.
Guidelines:
· RA: Tenure is maximum two years.
 · JRF: Tenure: Maximum Five Years: Candidate will work for first two years as JRF and will subsequently be elevated as SRF for the remaining three years, subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed as per DRDO guidelines.
 · Eligible candidates having own research fellowship from other national agencies are also encouraged to apply.
· Application form can be download from the website www.drdo.gov.in and sent by speed post with complete bio-data should reach The Director, Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Brig SK Mazumdar Marg, Timarpur, Delhi-110054, within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement. Candidate should write Position & Subject for which he/she is applying, on the cover of envelope. Affix a recent passport size photographs on the right top corner of the first page of application. Please enclose a crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs. 10/- drawn in favour of Director, INMAS, Delhi, along with the application. (Candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC are exempted from this payment).
 · Short-listed candidates will be called for interview through email only.
 ·Candidates will be essentially required to produce original certificates/testimonials w.r.t. qualifications & experience, for verification at the time of interview.
· Incomplete applications will be rejected during the screening for eligibility.
· Antecedents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining.
· Offer of award of Fellowship/Associateship does not confer on the candidates, any right for absorption in DRDO.
· Candidates should carry with them, the photocopy/print out of Application form sent to INMAS by post, along with the printout of interview letter received by email.
 · No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview or for joining, if selected.
