The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance established by the Govt. of India through the Dept. of Biotechnology under the auspices of UNESCO as Category II 

Centre.

Title of Project: “Mechanism of mutagenic & translesion DNA synthesis by a mycobacterial Y-family DNA polymerase”.

APPLY FOR THE POST OF SCIENTIST ‘C’, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH PUNE ,PUNE - 411 008

Duration: Initially for 3 months and may be extended after review for another three months.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. degree in life sciences with NET qualification and minimum 60% marks. Three years research experience and practical knowledge of protein purification, biochemical assays and protein crystallography is essential.

Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge and Research Experience in the field of DNA Repair.
