DIFFERENT RESEARCH POSITIONS - Tomato Functional Genomics,University of Hyderabad
The University of Hyderabad is an Indian Public Research
University located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Founded in 1974, this mostly
residential campus has more than 5,000 students and 400 faculty, from several
disciplines. The university was
established along the lines of the Six-Point Formula of 1973.
The first Vice-Chancellor of the University was Banaras Hindu University organic
chemist Gurbaksh Singh, from 1974 to 1979. Shri B D Jatti was the first
Chancellor of the University.

Position I
Job Title – Research Associate I
No.of.Posts – ONE
Remuneration – Selected candidate would be paid Rs. 36,000+30%
HRA.
Qualifications –
·Applicants should have very good experience in
proteomics, preferably using plant tissues in examining posttranslational
modifications, quantitative proteomics using shotgun approaches, basic
knowledge of mass spectrometry and should be supported by publications.
·The candidates meeting the above
specifications and who have submitted PhD Thesis/about to submit thesis and
have research publications are also encouraged to apply.
Position II
Job Title – Research Associate I
No.of.Posts – ONE
Remunerations – Selected candidates would be
paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 15000/- pm.
Qualifications –
·Applicants should have minimum one year
experience in tissue culture for generating transgenic plants. M.Sc. in any
branch of Life Sciences is required.
·Applications for

Position III
Job Title – Research Associate II
No.of.Posts – TWO
Remuneration – Selected candidates would be paid a consolidated
pay of Rs. 15000/-pm.
Qualifications –
·Applicants should have M.Sc. in any branch of
Life Sciences plus 1-2 years research experience in proteomics
analyses-2Dgel/LC-MS or M.Tech (Pharmacy, Chemistry, etc.) with 1-2 years’
experience in HPLC, mass spectrometry.
·Applications for

CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/BINC JRF qualified candidates for pursuing PhD in research
areas of tomato proteomics, metabolomics and functional genomics. The
